San Antonio:
Sales Manager (Ref: Sales Manager - San Antonio)


Main Event Entertainment is a fast growing Dallas-based company founded in 1998, operating family entertainment centers in the southern US. The company's high energy, high volume facilities range in size from 50,000 to 75,000 square feet and host a variety of attractions that appeal to people of all ages.
Guests can enjoy bowling, billiards, laser tag, ropes courses, glow golf, bocce ball, rock climbing, or choose from hundreds of interactive amusement games. Our multi-venue family entertainment centers feature full service restaurants and bars as well as fast casual restaurant offerings. great food, and much more in a fun, clean and comfortable environment.
Main Event Entertainment centers host groups as large as 1,500 and is the perfect venue for corporations, schools, churches, youth groups, bar and bat mitzvahs, post-prom or post-graduation parties.

At Main Event Entertainment, we currently seek experienced, effective, and proven leaders that want to advance their career within one of the most successful family entertainment centers in the industry.

The Sales Manager will report to the Director of Sales and will be responsible for the building corporate business, birthday parties and event sales for the Company. This position will manage center specific sales, event planning and marketing. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for managing and directing a high performing event sales team.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Communication with event coordinators, management, and operations
•    Actively manages the sales department
•    Attend weekly manager meetings and sales manager meetings
•    Book Corporate, Group, Birthday, Team Buildings, Lock-ins, and other special events
•    Complete event proposals and negotiate large events
•    Fundraising coordination
•    Community involvement
•    Ongoing client communication via mail, phone and email
•    Conduct site visits and tours
•    Hiring, training, and managing event coordinators
•    Project Management
 

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Sales Background; prefer Restaurant, Hotel, or Entertainment Industry
2. Management Experience
3. Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
5. Ability to Multi-Task
6. Bachelors degree preferred but not required
